Ok, I have GOT to say, this place ROCKS!!! Good food, nice atmosphere, easy access.

I had the Personal (12") White (no marinara sauce) Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese. It was hot, melty, crispy, and yummy.

Don't forget to ask for some parmesan cheese, as it is not on the table.

NJoy!

Famous Daves

Ok, so I have had Famous Daves a NUMBER of times before, and they have always been good. I have narrowed down my favorite lunch to the ManHandler Sandwich, because it comes with sliced briscuit AND andouille sausage on it, and it has the HellFire pickles on the side, which in my opinion is reason enough to go there (hmm, gift idea for Aaron...).

Yesterday I had the ManHandler, but I did it Memphis style, with the slaw on it, and some Devils Spit for fire and a little Sweet and Sassy for flavor. VIOLA. That is the way to have it.

RockFish

Restaurant: RockFish

To be honest, I have avoided RockFish in Chandler (by the Chandler Mall) because I had heard from more than one person that the quality of the food ranged from "not that good" to "bad".

Lately, I had heard some good things about it, and some friends were heading that way for lunch. Let me just say that not only did I eat there for lunch, I went back for dinner the same night! It was REALLY good.

I had the New England Baked Stuffed Fish (pan-seared, topped with a crab, shrimp, smoked sausage, and Ritz® cracker stuffing with champagne butter sauce) for lunch, and it was GREAT!! This is a DEFINATE "I would go back there for it".

I moved on to the Tilapia Pontchartrain (Char-grilled, topped with a Cajun crawfish and shrimp sauce. Served with veggies and rice pilaf) for dinner, and someone I was with had the Baked Stuffed Shrimp (tender shrimp stuffed with crab, shrimp, smoked sausage, and Ritz® crackers. drizzled with lemon butter and served with rice pilaf). While I enjoyed the above, they held NO COMPARISON to the New England Baked Stuffed Fish. The Tilapia was good, and had a good sauce on it, but not quite as good as the stuffed fish, and while the Stuffed shrimp had the same stuffing as the stuffed fish, the creamy sauce was missing which made the stuffing a little overpowering.

All in all, for my money, the New England Baked Stuffed Fish is the hands-down winner.

Since I end up eating out a lot on the company tab, it was suggested to me that I start a "Restaurant Blog" to record where we went, service, food quality, what I had, how it was, etc.

So, stay tuned!!
