NHibernate Links
Friday, October 19, 2007, 10:37 AM - C#, NHibernate
Since I do so much work with NHibernate I thought it might be of interest to start maintaining a list of links related to this topic, so here they are, in no particular order:

( 3.1 / 293 )GPP_K
Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 08:17 PM - Technology
After a long couple of days, I was able to unlock my linksys PAP2 phone adapter so I could make sip (VOIP) calls on any voip provider. After I had my firmware downgraded to 3.1.6, I was able to just tell it to pull a tftp "upgrade" to a new firmware, I turned automatic provisioning off, and then I was able to upgrade to the latest linksys firmware. It's now unlocked, and I was able to grab my GPP_K key, in case it gets locked again. If you are looking for your GPP_K key, it should look something like this:

Hope this helps.

( 3 / 254 )Time to get serious...
Saturday, September 8, 2007, 06:29 PM - Tractor
Well, now that I got old red running, I guess it's time to get it running well. I ordered a carb rebuild kit and a reprint of the repair manualfor the Case SC with the Eagle Hitch. They should be here next week sometime, so next weekend should be time for some mechanican...
Dad picked up the 2 row McCormick Deering corn planter we saw in colorado on when I first saw old red, and he is bringing that back with him, so we can start playing with that too. Hopefully I will be able to find a manual for that, but that's a topic for another blog entry...

( 3.1 / 224 )Symbolic Links in XP Pro
Thursday, September 6, 2007, 11:30 AM - XP
I had a need to hardlink a directory to a symbolic name today, and tried to use fsutil to no avail. FSUtil can link files, but not directories. However, I found the sysinternals program Junction.exe that will create symbolic links for directories. All you do is type junction LINK TARGET, where LINK is the name of the local directory to create, and TARGET is the name of the existing directory you are trying to link to. ( 2.9 / 216 )SUCCESS!!
Sunday, September 2, 2007, 04:54 PM - General, Tractor
Today was a great day in the life of Old Red! After messing with the carburator all morning because it didn't seem to be getting any gas (and because when I took it apart the bowls were packed full of mud!!) I took a little emery cloth and some PB Blaster to it and got the floats moving.
We went and bought a new starter button, as the old one got stuck the first time I pushed it. The starter ran and ran until I finally got the hot lead removed from the solenoid!
A couple pumps of gas and a new gasket later, we got it started! I drove it out of the shop and power washed it, and then drove it back in!
Now I need to bold the water pump, fan, and radiator back in place before I can run it very long, but I am just thrilled that it started!
